The founder of Theo's Lessons and your Drum Instructor.

Music has always been a part of my life. Growing up in a musical family in Minneapolis, I started playing drums at just nine years old. What began as a passion quickly grew into a lifelong journey that has taken me around the world, performing for countless audiences and playing on songs with millions of streams.

But some of my most meaningful musical experiences began much closer to home. As a young drummer, I took lessons from a local legend named Joe, who ran a small music shop called Joe's Music. Joe taught me more than just how to play drums. His passion for teaching and his belief in the joy music brings to people's lives left a lasting impression on me.

Joe is a big part of the reason I teach today. I want to pass on the same passion that inspired me, creating a fun, welcoming, and approachable environment where students can build their skills, grow their confidence, and discover their own love for drumming.

For me, drumming is about more than getting the notes right. It's about enjoying the process, finding your sound, and discovering what music can bring to your life. That's the experience I hope to share with every student.
